The Client (1994)

Mark Sway has a foul mouth but a delicate heart. He finds himself in a terrible predicament and his main concern is to protect his mother and younger brother. This movie sends a message of hope with a “Never Give Up” feel.

Reggie Love tries to regain her parental instincts by assisting young Sway in his quest for protection and justice.

The overall film was well done, however points are taken for predictability and a few “dry” moments.

I have given this movie 3 stars.

The Client (1994)

A street-wise kid, Mark Sway, sees the suicide of Jerome Clifford, a prominent Louisiana lawyer, whose current client is Barry ‘The Blade’ Muldano, a Mafia hit-man. Before Jerome shoots himself, he tells Mark where the body of Senator Boyd Boyette is buried. Mark escapes, and Clifford shoots himself.

Mark is found at the scene, and both the FBI and the Mafia quickly realize that Mark probably knows more than he says. Mark decides he needs a lawyer, and goes looking for one. He finds Reggie Love, who also becomes convinced that Mark knows more than he says, but Mark isn’t talking…
